What personal information do we collect and how do we use it?

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect the categories below for the purposes described. We limit collection to what is reasonable for those purposes.

Please do not submit patient charts, personal health information, classified information, or other controlled defence information through general Site forms unless Atlas has provided a dedicated secure channel for that purpose.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share personal information with service providers that perform services on our behalf, such as hosting, communications, scheduling, analytics (where permitted by consent), and operational delivery, under contractual confidentiality and security expectations appropriate to the information involved.

We may disclose personal information where required or permitted by law, including in response to lawful requests by public authorities, to investigate misuse of the Site, to protect the rights and safety of Atlas and others, and in connection with corporate transactions (such as a merger, acquisition, or asset sale), subject to applicable law.

Where permitted, we may use or share de-identified or aggregate information that does not identify you.

If you engage Atlas from a public body, regulated institution, or defence organization, additional statutory and policy obligations may apply to records, disclosures, and retention. We address those obligations through project-specific contractual terms and secure channels rather than through general Site forms.

Where do we store personal information?

Personal information may be stored or processed in Canada and may be transferred to, or accessed from, other provinces, territories, or countries where we or our service providers operate. Information processed outside your home jurisdiction may be subject to lawful access by courts, law enforcement, or regulators under local law.

If you access the Site from outside Canada, you understand that your information may be transferred to Canada and other jurisdictions. We apply safeguards appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information, including contractual measures where appropriate.

How long do we retain personal information?

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, for operational continuity, and to satisfy legal or regulatory requirements. When information is no longer required, we securely delete or de-identify it in accordance with our retention practices.

How do we secure personal information?

We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and loss, including controls we consider appropriate for a public marketing website. No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free, and we continuously review our practices as the Site evolves.

How do I access or correct my personal information?

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccuracies, and ask questions about how we handle your information. We may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

If you receive marketing email from us, you may use the unsubscribe mechanism included in those messages where available.
